Prep/Layer Prior to Collinite Insulator Liquid?

Was wondering if applying AIO prior to Collinite liquid might be a good combo?? What prep do Collinite users use?? I'm looking for winter durability and a good shine/gloss.

AIO should be a good prep for Collinite it will also add to the protection. But, if your goal is protection you should go with AIO + SG + Insulator wax.
 
Thanks for the reply. The thing I don't like about SG is the long dry time...many recommend 12 hours before buffing it out. I may try the AIO + Collinite Liquid.
 
I have done the AIO + Insulator routine.



I worked on a 14 year old Honda Accord with 200,000+ miles that had never been detailed.



I used Meguiars Medium Cut, DACP worked in really well, AIO and Collinite.



The AIO served as a great cleaner and left the surface in good shape for the wax.



I did the car in June, I believe, and washed it 2 weeks ago and the Insulator wax is holding up well.
