Premium Detailed 2000 20ft Sea Doo Challenger Bombarder!!!

Garry Dean

Garry Dean Quality!
2000 Sea Doo Challenger Bombarder. I detailed this boat just over a year ago and it turned out great. I detail vehicles for this client on a regular basis, but his boat is another story. He had not washed this boat or done anything else to it except for use it since the last time I detailed it. I detail lots of boats and I have to say that Sea Doo is the absolute worst type of boat to detail. They spray their gel coat very thin and it seems to never want to polish out properly. This client was not looking for absolute perfection. He wanted to just get rid of the oxidation and bring back the shine. All of the interior was removed to be recovered so I did not detail the interior this time.

* Washed with Dawn
* Clayed with Clay Magic blue and diluted ONR
* Taped all trim and brightwork with 3M masking tape
* Makita 9227C
* Compounded with Four Star Medium Cut Compound and Four Star Avenger wool pads
(Four Star Aggressor wool pads were used on severe oxidized areas)
* Polished with Four Star Light Cut Compound and LC White polishing pad
* Sealed with Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection

Now for some pics. I skipped the wash and clay pictures. Here are the before polishing pictures. Look at this ugly oxidation!

Boats. :passout:

Nice job. That one looked like a fun one to work on.

Makes you look like you know what you're doing.:gotcha:

I am in love with that boat. I have wanted one since I first saw them and since this one would match my truck I really love it. Great job on the detail.
