Preferred Hose Nozzle?

Believe me, they are both Bonaire. There are two models, one is aluminum and plastic guts, the other has stainless and brass workings. The rubber shield is different on each also. The stainless/brass model is the top of the line.

What are you talking about? I am saying that the aluminum Ultimate Hose Nozzle is different than the Sears Craftsman Nozzle. They may be both made by Bonaire but the Craftsman is not the same as the aluminum Ultimate Hose Nozzle. I have both and there is a definite difference in quality.

Yes that is the one I have. I have the aluminum version. As you can see the aluminum has different rubber than the stainless steel. I prefer the indentations of the aluminum version over the rubber bumps of the stainless version.

Neither version is the same as the Craftsman from Sears.

Mine is a craftmans firehose style and its only one that I have ever had that I like allot....I have one on every hose around the house, that's four total

Beemerboy,
I have the exact same nozzle and it is legit. I also have several around the house. If you have just decent water pressure it works great. If you have plus water pressure it's game on.
If you ever have a problem with blockage they are a piece of cake to clean.
I'm pumped so when else enjoys that nozzle.
One quick story, if you don't mind. I had my original craftsman for 6 years, used it a lot every day at my "real job". I finally retired him and brought him home so he could enjoy his retirement. My neighbor and I hired a guy to replace a common wall in the backyard. Ater their first day of work, I was going to wash my car and I couldn't find my nozzle that I had retired. I was looking everywhere and I found him sitting attatched to a hose in a bucket of half made cement!! He was absolutely thrashed, water spewing out of him from all over. He was done, beyond repair, stripped!
I seriously considering firing that guy the next morning, But I didn't. What I did do was make him go to the local Home Depot and buy me 4 new craftsman nozzles and 1 of the cheesiest nozzles with the trigger on it and made him use it the rest of the way.
Anyways that was probably a little bit more than you cared to know, but they are the best. I'm out. Thanks.
Rogie

I have a craftsman that cost around 5 to 10 dollars I think, that I'm perfectly satisfied with.I just put a severe crimp(fold in one hand) in the hose unscrew my nozzle(with the other) and then flush. Works great.

Don't think you'll find Craftsman at Home Depot. That's Sears line.

can you please give me a guestimated $price on the crafstmen nozzle.

P.S. (sorry) post # 26 $5.00 To $10.00 sounds too cheap for a craftsmen quality hose nozzle?

I just remembered I bought mine about 2 years ago at Home Depot. Same style as the Craftsman & it was about $19.99. So I guess that's about the average price for a good quality nozzle.

I bought the Wal-Mart firehose nozzle & have not had a problem with it. I added a brass check-valve with a lever that I can operate with my thumb that gives me easy-on/easy off with a 90* flick of the lever while maintaining the flow setting that I want.

The nozzle is encased in rubber to protect against accidents & does not leak a drop. When it's off, it's off & I can't imagine a nozzle at 3 or 4 times the price doing any better.

I'm happy using the the Lonn Water saver nozzle. It "flows" water out the end to "sheet" off the surface. The water stops flowing when you drop it.
I use quick release fasteners to switch to a spray unit when needed.

Clik on "Water Savers" Model L is the one I have.

Looks like there's no online ordering available on the Lonn site. Know of any other sites that carry this nozzle?

Thanks!

Call them at 317-897-1440 to purchase direct....they do not have a lot of distribution outside the farm supply industry.
I originally saw it in the background of a Griots catalog (apparently they used to sell it) I searched the net and found Lonn.

Later,

A friend of mine purchased a "water saver nozzle" from his local NAPA Auto Parts Store about 1 year ago. I personally haven't been able to locate one anywhere else. Thanks for the link!

Been a very long time since i posted here and i see some have sent me private messages so first let me say sorry i did not respond I changed ISP's and so my email changed.

Anyway glad to find this thread as I have been searching for a new hose nozzle now since i cannot seem to keep the 10.00 Ace Hardware ones from breakin and it looks as though this Sear model is going to do a great job. I am going to go pick up a few tomorrow since i got some gift cards for Chrsitmas.
