You can find many of the acronyms used on the site in this thread.
57Chevy went to a lot of work to put this together.

so charles, what are ya drivin with a supercharger under the hood? i couldn't agree more with your statement about the building excitement while the turbo spools. you are one lucky guy to have so much experience with forced induction, one of the finer points of life.
A 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.
Other than a smaller pulley on the supercharger and a couple of strut tower braces, it is stock.
I had two Talon AWD Turbo cars and they were both more modified than the GTP.
I also installed a supercharger on a Chevy Corvair back in the 60's. It was super quick for its time, but one full throttle run would develop so much heat that you couldn't hammer it again till it cooled down for quite a while.
Based on my experience with the Corvair and a friends experience with a 1991 Corvette, I don't think I would ever do the aftermarket supercharger thing again. I fixed my need for speed with a Tri-Power GTO and he fixed his with a Viper. :)

Some people you just naturally treat with respect.
Sometimes it's the person, sometimes it's because of family. :)

so you can understand my modding obsession, nice. there is a supercharger for my car but the hp gains for the price is a bit steep. turbo awd, sounds like fun to me! those gto's have a load of hp and i love the way the look, i hope you have a radar detector.

I think I may have misled you a little. I don't have the "new" GTO, I had one of the "real" GTO's back in the 60's.
Your Honda can be made very quick without any turbo or supercharger. It just takes money.

no i missed you, i tried talking on the phone to a collegue, reading, and typing at once. bad idea. anyway a supercharged gtp right? my brothers girlfriend has the regular version, the nicest looking american 4 door if you ask me but how do you wax those little ridges? the honda engine does have extensive modding possibilities and hidden potential i'd like to unleash. i've done intake headers and exhaust and am looking to put a stock diameter lightweight crank pulley on as well as some cooling mods.

Probably a different car. The GTP has the GM plastic cladding on the lower rocker panels, but no ridges. Those are on the Grand Am.

This is the GTP just after a wash. This was about a year ago and it had AIO/UPP on it.

I confused your car with my brothers girlfriends car not knowing that you didn't have the ridges on the sides of your car. That's a beauty though and supercharged, what more could a man need? Red does attract police though but a car with lines like that deserves something flashy. You keep er' clean too.
