Pre-ordered the Nano from ACC

On my kit, the wrench was secured in a slit in the foam but part does extend under the head. The counterweights were loose but in the bottom but not far from the cut outs underneath the Nano body.
 
All you gotta do is ask. Worked for me, anyway.

Of course, I`ve made it a point to show off my AG banner in reflection shots until Ray gave in. ;)

They sent me one last year. Now i keep asking for an inverted one so the reflections show their logo properly, lol

Oh and my nano is coming around tuesday so i took the day off. I got parts on my SRT that could use some nano lovin.

Yeah, I wanted one too. As you said; Oh well. (Would surely like to have had one.)

OTOH, that lead to my wife giving in and ordering the Flex PE-8 with all the backing plates for my/our birthday`s. :) That and a bunch of other goodies, even a Mytee 8070 complete with the fancy little dry upholstery tool! ;)

Which was actually almost a month ago when the order went in, and was looking SOOOOO forward to using it.:unsure:

That`s the good part.;)

The bad part.....
The Flex was busted when I got it. (Ran fast, slow, fast, slow, never would maintain speed). E-mailed for help, tried PM`s, even sent a video link showing how farkled it was. (Immediately sent it back first use, on my own dime, back on 5/2, was signed for on 5/4.)
As of today I STILL don`t have a replacement (Flex or shipping reimbursement) and have no idea if/when I ever will.:wow:

Been over a month since it was bought and paid for, still don`t have a working one.
How`s that for waiting for a buffer you were really looking forward to using on your newly inherited Model A? :passout:


Wishin` I`d gone another direction about now..... Especially as sexy as that lil` Rupes is. :cheers:

Wow that`s a bad time there. Sorry to hear about that.

I was looking at the pe8 and a mark II instead of the nano alone.

But i have only used rupes -duetto was my first ever polisher 3 years ago.
I have never held a pc or flex or boss but id imagine it would just reinforce my love for the rupes brand.

I still want the mini too. Guess i have two more rupes to save for, :)

But im sure excited to get mine...

Already booked two Mopars -lol

Two Mopars!!!! KEWL! :D I got a bunch of lil` cars like that, all sitting in their boxes, waiting on my kids to have kids, and their kids to have kids, and FINALLY one day they might be worth something. Come to think of it... got the Jeff Gordon, Martinsville win, Elite (his last win ever) car last week. That one will stay in it`s box forever and ever too. (Got the Jeff`s last ride, Homestead car coming probably next month and that`ll be the last NASCAR I`ll ever buy I reckon.)

Getting back to RUPES......I
`ve got the Duetto too.

Well actually.... it`s CarMomma`s. ;)

It was HER that broke down and ordered $1600 worth of stuff for me for our birthdays. Even let me add a High Line II to the mix. :D We`ve just been spending every darned day in the hospital for over 3 weeks now with her mom and haven`t had time to do much (if any) detailing here lately. Had a job to do the Saturday after the order went in but the order didn`t show up for a week. And of course the extractor was another week.

So imagine my surprise once I got to checking out the lil` PE-8 to see it going all wonky. :wacko: Even made a short video of it to document it. (Don`t reckon that helped either... considering I`ve yet to see a replacement!)

For now I`d just be happy not to spend half a day, EVERY DAY at the hospital. Lost her dad in Feb, now it`s her mom. There`s a "Papa Fred" thread over in AGO, where I can no longer go talking about his ordeal. (Haaaa.... I rhymed A-G-O... where I can no longer go.) LOL
