Prayers with new deployments.

I just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with the recent deployments. There has not been much mention about us deploying people back. The administration we currently have only speaks of how we are bringing people back from the middle east.
The truth is that we are sending some more back. This is not classified so please don't get bent out of shape. I just don't want the people who risk their lives that need to get what we are leaving organized and distributed unrecognized. These people place themselves in a very dangerous situation with the current reduction in troops.

It was a hard day sending off a loved one to the unknown but respect their decision to serve.
My thoughts and prayers are with all, current and new and their loved ones.

To all who have and do serve,
Thank You.

John

Great post John!

"Their job is over and I'm bringing the troops home"

This is nothing more than pre-election political rhetoric. We have and will continue to station thousands of troops in the middle east.

Be safe and come home once your tour has ended. My thought and prayers go out to each and every service member out there and their families...

Yes soldiers may not have a combat role but there will be some presence. Of Kuwait and other countries is a giant parking lot for military materials.

John,

Thank you for thinking of our dedicated soldiers and other troops.

There isn't a day of peace in our lives until our son returns home from Kabul. Even though it's his third deployment, it never gets easier for us or him.

People often forget what military families are putting up with day to day, especially the Reserve Component of the Army. My son is a reserve officer and has been deployed three times. That's a total disruption of family life and career.

Thank your for your thoughts and prayers. Please keep my son in your prayers. He has 7 months remaining on this deployment.

My SIL just deployed last Sat. She's in the transport division of the Air Force. I understand how you feel. We watched her grow up and as my wife said it's like pulling a band-aid off slowly.
Gods Speed to all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the troops each day....My wife was one of the first to go over to Iraq, she spent her 58 birthday over there...I meet her right after she got back to the states...

God bless our troops where ever they are and their family & friends waiting at home. we can never repay them for what they go through and do for us.
