Prayers Needed for our Friend

Kurt, My prayers are with you and your family. I have witnessed many of God's Miracles and have seen many people beat cancer and leukemia by being faithful, eating right and following the rest requirements laid out by the doctors. If you need a friend to talk to feel free to call or PM me. TD
 
i talked to Kurt this morning and he was having a good day (to this point) and very much appreciates all the prayers and good wishes. :)
He hopes to get a lap top soon in the hospital and will try and come on line with us :bigups

As TD said above...

The responses in this thread make me proud to be a member of this "city". For many of us it (DC) is truly more than just an online forum. It is a community. When a member hurts we all share in the pain. Blessings to Kurt and his family.
 
Keep it up everyone ... heard from Kurt this morning and he's feeling good a couple days off of chemo and his numbers are going in the right direction ...

:pray: he can be home for his birthday on the 16th
 
We just got off the phone with Kurt and he is doing amazingly well.

He has recovered from his first round of chemo and may be coming home very

soon. The long term is still a mystery for now, but let's keep :pray: that he

continues to recover :bigups

If all goes well, Kurt should be chiming in himself very soon :yay
 
That is great news on a day when it is sorely needed!

Just got off the phone with Kurt, he was just admitted yesterday and is about to start a new round of chemo through his spine :yikes:
He's a bit anxious as this is all new to him. He sounds in good spirits overall.
He has a new net book that was sent by a very generous member of this forum, but the internet is spotty and the hospital has DC blocked :wall
He said he'll work on it later in the week if he's up to it, as he'd like to visit DC... he sends his :thanks for all the support and :pray:
