 A close friend of mine, Stephanie, is undergoing a kidney transplant today. Your prayers for her and her donor, Gina, are greatly appreiciated. :help:

I'm praying for them as I type this.Good luck to both the girls and God bless them..:passout:

Ill be praying for them you guys did for me! Tell the girls they will need to drink lots of water every day, and lay of the caffeine. Im supposed to drink 3 qt of water every day, on top of regular fluids. For pain tell them an epideral. Its a lot easier. They will both be down for 6-8 weeks, slowly working up to normal, Im still not there yet. Just dont let them get dehydrated! Just went through removel of one kidney a month ago and then got dehydrated 2 weeks later. RANDAL

A huge :thanks to everyone. Please keep the   coming. We'll certainly pass along your experiences Randal. :yourrock

I have no experience to pass on to your friends other than to say that the prayers from the forum not only help but I am living breathing proof that those same prayers and well wishes worked for me.

So with that said, here is my most heartfelt wish and fervent prayer that the surgery goes on without a glitch and to a speedy recovery to all as well.

How are the girls doing? I keep having visions of my stay in the hospital, and wondering how these these 2 gals are doing. RANDAL in MUDDY IOWA
