Next up, The Vette.....

I'm not super familiar with LC's pads, but isn't the yellow LC a cutting pad? Black is one of their finishing pads... so I'm confused by that order. Unless you mean their gold pad, which is their jeweling pad.

Yes with LC pads the yellow is a more aggressive pad than the orange.
I never did buy a yellow don't feel like I need one I can use my Makita and Orange and remove wet sanding marks in very short time.

When I saw the yellow I was assuming he had some brand of pad that I was not familiar with but if he used a LC Yellow he made a hugh mistake.

Probably was the gold pad.

It was the "LC-78-44650DA - CCS 6.5 inch Super Soft Gold Jewel" (looks like yellow to me  )

Great job, Al!

Being experienced with Daughter'sNiceCarThatIBustedMyAssFor7HoursOn, I hate to have to tell you that she will break your heart. If it ain't "But Jeremy looked so cute sitting on the hood!" it's "Daddy, how else was I supposed to carry the surfboards?!"

Good luck, my friend. LOL!

You may be right. I let her take my Corvette to Texoma to visit with her boyfriends family and go on a fishing trip . So my wife and I spent all day Saturday and a couple hours on Sunday working on the Mustang. She pulls up in the driveway, parks the vette and takes a cooler out of the trunk and plops it on the shiny bright hood of the Mustang.......:wall:wall:wall:wall

Sounds like this is going to turn out just like I expected it would. :D

I have a friend that bought a new car I knew how he cares for them so I gave him some DG-105 explained how to use it and told him if he put it on the new car it would protect the paint for a year.

It has been a year now but the car don't look that great, I ask him about the DuraGloss and he said Ohh I didn't get around to putting it on.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. :wall

how much haze do you get using the 105, and do you mist the pad or just smooth out the polish with your finger?
The 105 was applied with an LC Orange pad. It was 102 degrees that day and we had a commercial fan blowing. The 105 would dry quickly and I would mist the car with a 50-50 solution of alcohol and water to continue polishing. The haze removal was handled by my wife with a microfiber and the alcohol - water solution.
I'm not sure what you mean by "smooth out the polish your finger"
