Powerclean on LC CSS Pads

I've seen that there's many here that have used Dawn Powerclean to clean out their polishing pads. The other day I was thinking of getting some, but after reading the back of the bottle I changed my mind. It sounds like it's really strong stuff, and may cause the pad and velcro backing to come apart. Has anyone here had any trouble with early wear to their pads after using it?

i've used it many of times and have not had any issues. i just spray directly onto the pad, let it sit for about ten minutes, and then massage out all the product out under running (hose) water. then lay it on the grit guard to dry...



try it on a pad and see if it works for you, if not you're only out a few bucks...
