Post your Zaino'd car!

Post pics of your Zaino'd cars. Im curious to see what results people are getting from Z2 Pro, Z5 Pro, Z-AIO, etc. Post what products you used and how many coats.

Just keep in mind how good people's finish will look is 95% due to the steps leading up to putting Zaino on the car. Take a car detailed by Scottwax, David Fermani, or many of the other top guys in this industry and have them do a full multi-step polish detail and then put Turtle Wax on one half of a car and then have someone who knows little about detailing put Zaino on the other half and the Turtle waxed half would blow the Zaino'ed half of the car out of the water. Just a simple fact of detailing.

To truly be able to judge a wax or sealant (yes I know Sal calls them polishes but they are really sealants with the exception of the one polish he does sell) you would have to see the finish before applied and after applied.

I always thought it might be more appropriate for zaino users to post pics of their rides 6 months after applying zaino :)

Probably be easier to go to flickr.com or some other photo sharing sites and do a search for Zaino. Should get lots of pics to look at and a wide variety of levels of paint correction before application.

How many people here let their cars go 3 months without adding more wax or sealant, let alone 6 months?

Hi Bert, I agree only with paint in poor condition.

But on brand new cars, with no rail dust, just claying and coat em up.....I still think Zaino would win.

Or with both cars preped equally first, then put your sealer vs Z on.

I've just been doing my own tests lately and the Z is doing very well.

JBM, 6 months will still look pretty much the same. I let my Z go 5 years, and yes it needed doing, but with just a Z8 it looked good enough to sell.

YMMV. LOL

Here's 3 months.

I still stand by my original quote. I have seen befores andd afters David Fermani and others other top detailers have done to cars virtually off the lot and the improvements from the polishing alone were far more than what Zaino (or any other LSP) alone could.

My sealer? I don't follow you. What I am saying is you cannot judge good Zaino (or any LSP) looks by just looking at a pic without knowing the condition of the paint before hand. Let me wash, clay and three or four step polish pretthmuch any car and it will look better with any product (I said Turtle Wax as an example) & that paint would better than if I had only washed it and applied Zaino.

It's always an emotional discussion. Folks naturally defend what they've spent their hard earned money on. Some like waxes, some like sealants. There are as many supporters as detractors (for whatever the reason) of anything.

For me, I like Zaino very much and use it on a couple of my cars. But I have different products on some other cars. That's part of the fun.

I too have had great success with Zaino products and but like you, I use other products also--Collinite for one. My only probem with Zaino is their help line, which reminds me of being talked to by a nun with a ruler in her hand.

More of a poor opinion of people who act like Zaino is God's gift to detailing and nothing else is remotely good enough.

You can find that with most any brand. And there is a huge placebo effect. The pricier the product, the better it must be!

True, but not like with some of the Zaino fans. Part of the problem is the herd mentality on some of the car boards (Corvette forums come to mind) and that so many of them haven't used anything other than so-so over the counter stuff. Of course Zaino is better.

It sounds like you have more of a problem with the people than you do with the product although neither one seems to be on your favorite list. When I dislike something that bad I just don't even enter into the conversation--
