Post Your Pics of Detailed Old Beaters!

Just over 20,000 miles on this S-10 but it had sat in a field for two years. Even found a dead, dried up frog under the seat.

Detailer's Pride Super Swirl Eliminator with a Meguiars cutting pad, Detailer's Pride Final Finishing Polish and a Meguiars polishing pad, Poorboy's (new) EX w/carnauba by hand.

No good before shots because my sons and I did the work in a parking garage like area. The clearcoat was very hazed though, looked almost like a faded single stage paint job. First vehicle my kids helped me on that needed intense polishing and they were both stunned at the improvement.

Just a couple quick hood shots on another S-10...that also has real low miles but sat for a long time-this one under a tree. Severely etched with bird bombs but most of the scratches were eliminated or greatly reduced.

Clearkote Compound and a Meguiars cutting pad, then with Meguiars #80 and a green Propel lite cut pad, Glare by hand.

Doesn't it suck working on cars that are horrible for you, but the norm for me. :furious:

Ok, here is my beater. It is a 1998 Honda Passport with about 59K miles on it. These pictures were not taken to show the shine or anything but maybe it will come through. It is in great shape for it's age I think. This is with one coat of EX on it. Since these were taken I have been using Natty's Blue, QD+, and PB Wheel Sealant on it. The interior is done with IQD and Lexol on the leather.
