2014 Porsche Turbo S

Factory specs: 3.8 liter flat 6 twin turbo, 560HP, 553 TQ.
0-60 in 2.6 seconds.
Top Speed: 197mph.
This vehicle has been modified: Kline exhaust and a By Design/Sambo tune. This bumped it another 100HP and 90TQ. It is a ROCKET!

I usually do this vehicle once a year for my client. He likes to wax it so he is not interested in a coating. I corrected it a year or two back and it is still in very good shape. It really only needed minor correction. More of a gloss enhancement was what I performed.

The good stuff:

2BW w/SCG Pro shampoo and GYEON mitt.
Wheels/Tires: Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner, and a wash with above and speedmaster brushes.
Clayed with a fine grade nano sponge. Wash media as lube.
Master Blaster to dry.
Flex XFE 7-15, Rupes mini and iBrid.
Meg’s thin yellow polishing pads.
Griot’s Perfecting Cream.
Misc. MF towels.
McKee’s37 Hi-Def paint sealant.
McKee’s37 gloss tire dressing.
Auto Finesse glass cleaner.
Adam’s APC on exhaust tips.
Metro vacuum.
McKee’s37 All in One Leather cleaner/conditioner.
McKee’s quick interior cleaner on Navi screen and some dash areas.
Adam’s carpet cleaner on floor mats.
Beta test carpet protectant on floor mats.

Thanks for looking!!!

Thanks for posting this Porsche detail. Again, it looks like it BELONGS at your home and usual comment on signature carpet striping! It really sets this interior off for some reason.

Four questions:
1) Do you know what wax (or waxes) the owner prefers/uses on this Red Porsche?
2) Do you ever think you can convince this owner into a coating over his favorite wax(es)? (Yes, I know; the customer is always right!)
3) What kind of flooring/coating do you have on your garage shop floor and how is it holding up to your detailing chemicals and vehicle in-and-out wear-and-tear?
4) Any thoughts on the beta carpet protectant and when it will be available or is this the first time using it? (More product teasing, like with the now-released McKee`s 37 Tar Remover you tested!)

Four questions:
1) Do you know what wax (or waxes) the owner prefers/uses on this Red Porsche? Fuzion! I gave him a tub of it!
2) Do you ever think you can convince this owner into a coating over his favorite wax(es)? (Yes, I know; the customer is always right!) I do not think so. He enjoys waxing it himself too much.
3) What kind of flooring/coating do you have on your garage shop floor and how is it holding up to your detailing chemicals and vehicle in-and-out wear-and-tear? It`s holding up great! It`s a polymer material with real stone/mica chips in it covered by 2 layers of clear.
4) Any thoughts on the beta carpet protectant and when it will be available or is this the first time using it? (More product teasing, like with the now-released McKee`s 37 Tar Remover you tested!)
I`ve used it a few times, couple times on vehicles and on some footwear. I like it. I don`t know when it will or if it will be released.

Stunning. You can’t take enough pictures of these things.

I see see you like McKees. Best clay I have ever used. I notice you didn’t use traditional clay, but if you need to pick some up give it a try. It’s not overly sticky, even down here in Florida.

^^Thank you WaxAddict! Yes, they have a solid line up of products that I like. I still use `real` clay when it needs it, I still feel that it`s `better` than the clay alternatives.

I will have to give it a shot! And good that it doesn`t get messy like some others can in our heat and humidity!
