Straight forward project. 997 Carrera with nightmare paint getting 40 hours of correction. The pitting on the hood was pointed out to the owner but he was not concerned with it. Beyond that, there would be no guarantee that it could have been cleaned up. The paint was measuring thin in spots on every panel. The paint measured from 80-115 microns all over the car.

My technician-in training, Gustavo the Brazilian Bruiser, was a huge help through the project.

The owner had applied some real junk on the tires. Some kind of Armor All rubberizer that was layered onto the tires. To remove it I had to use some high pressure water to cut it apart.

Nasty weather to start the preparation under.

The next 2 shots only show off the attention to even the small areas like that space between the headlamps and the hood. Every inch of the fenders were given a ton of attention.

how did the paint get the bad to warrant 40 hours of correction?!

Great turn-around!! Love what you did with it

Most of the damage was very deep and most of the car needed many passes with a wool pad/rotary before we could move on. In short, to get the best surface we had to have 4 different corrective steps with rotary/DA.

Thanks for the compliment.
