Porsche 993 Turbo correction and Opti-Guard - Immaculate Reflections

This nice low mile 993 Turbo just finished getting some work done and the owner wanted to get as much correction as possible out of it. The paint was very soft and also thin (found a few strike-throughs by previous detailers), so much care was taken to preserve as much material as possible then apply Opti-Guard to add a couple microns back along with permanent protection.

Upon arrival....

The fenders unfortunately took the brunt of an inexperienced detailer sometime in its past....here is one of the strike-throughs.

Some of the fabric around the sunroof had been badly stained or rubbed off....likely by the same person who burned the fenders...

After compounding and polishing on the fender/door/rocker, final polishing still to be done

After compounding. A couple scratches were far too deep to remove fully.

More burn marks....all these were taped to ensure they would not be made worse.

Sharply angled pad from previous shop? Not good.
