Looking for advice on a good QD.....
Thinking of ordering poorboys QD or Spray & Gloss. Which is better?
How comparable are they to Mothers-Showtime?
Any other suggestions/favorites?
 
i used to really like mothers show time qd. it gave it a nice clean look and would also make the flake in my paint pop... only thing is i thought it looked better under diff conditions, lighting, day, and night. i tried spray and gloss and im really happy with it. best of both worlds and looks awesome! havent tried adams detail spray but u might want to check that out...
 
Get the Spray and Gloss and do a side by with Mother's. This way you can make a comparison and see the difference in products (if there is any).
 
I've tried Mother's, Poorboys's QD+, 4*UGE and CK Quikshine. The last two are my favorites. The UGE smells fantastic, will help to fortify the sealant and it wipes on/off super easy. The QS will leave a superslick finish and is just as easy on/off. The QD+ is more like a spray wax to me. You can see it haze and then you remove.

It is all a matter of preference but for me all 4 work great. I use the mother's in my trunk for those 'just in case moments', I use the PB for carnaubas and the 4* for sealants. I wouldn't say the differences are really THAT dramatic, so it is a matter of preference.

Next I'm gonna try Adam's because of the great reviews. We also get a 20% off discount using 'DC20' from today up until the 13th. Just in time for spring!!!
 
I've got both S&G and QD+ and honestly, I prefer S&G a lot more.

It's super slick and really does something for the paint. Ultra Glossy!
 
S&G is a quick detailing spray which leaves an extremely slick finish with a wet look. QD+ is a spray wax which is great at refreshing your carnauba LSPs. Both are very nice products, but they are different breeds.
