Poorboy's World Detailing Weekend

:ticked We ran into a snag and I may not be able to make it. :( The motor work on the GTO will either be finished tonight or tomorrow. If it gets done tonight I will be driving :shift down a very dirty, 3 months uncovered in a mechanics garage, needing a bath and major detail 69 GTO Judge. When I look at it now it looks like it is crying because it feels neglegted. :boohoo

Steve, I will call you tonight to let you know one way or the other.
 
Hey guys -- I'll be there. Will we have nametags with our real and "DetailCity" names so we can ID one another? I've arranged some internet get-togethers and it's usually a good idea. I might have some name tags that I can bring, if you guys think it's a good idea.

Hello Everyone,

I was referred to this forum by a member (whose handle I do not know) to learn more about detailing and said I could get a big head start by coming to this event! yea! I should be able to attend this Saturday. I will bring what I can from the list posted, but do not own any electric buffers as of yet. My Ride is freshly painted so that limits my waxing options for about 4 weeks.

I just finished washing my car and putting all my gear by the door. Is anyone else ready for tomorrow's activities?



P.S. A last minute packing list is available in post # 100 above. The weather forecast is now calling for record high temperatures, so please prepare accordingly.
 
yes I have my MF in the wash and all the machines in the boxes.. sean and i talked and i'll be bringing a woolie pad with me to we can scare some more people this year.. I'm sad about not bringing the baja but she does need her rest and how often do i get to ause i mean use my nephews T/A all weekend long..

I forgot my camera and im actually the first one to make it home (ahh the pleasures of being local) I am sure there will be people posting a lot of pictures though as I saw a lot of cameras floating around!
 
Overall was a great day, as expected. Very cool to meet some people from last year again, and to meet new people. I just uploaded my pictures onto the computer. Heres a teaser since i'm going out for the night very soon.
I should have the rest up by late tonight or tommorow evening with my thoughts on the day.
