Poorboy's World Detailing Weekend

Looks like there are only 10 people signed up so far. Are all of you planning to go on both days or just for one day?

I will not be able to make it on Sunday but I more than likely will be there on Saturday.

I am thinking about bringing my highly negleted 1990 Nissan 240SX (original oxidized paint) to see what results I can achieve. Especially with the suggestions and guidance of the people that are already coming.

If not I will just have to show up with the 1969 GTO. :lmfao

Perhaps Steve and Sean could Do a session on one of the days on rotary Use!

I would love to go but that is an haul for me. Across the whole state of New York. Wish it was closer maybe in the middle of the state.

For those who don't know! And have not been to a Poorboys Detailing day!

I attended last year! It was great!!! (The only set back was that I beleive it was the hottest day of the summer)

It was a great time ... I got to meet a lot of the people who were local and even some who drove many hours to participate! We got to try everthing that was In the poorboys line to our hearts content!

We got some expert advice from Poorboy himself! Best of all we got to share tricks of the trade! I personally was able to stand by and watch Sean (AKA: GSRstilez) work his MoJo with his Rotary! (Its quite impressive)

You can count me in ... For a day of Detailing fun! This year I will be bringing a Cooler! :beer Coors Light anyone?

Well, IF I win the Powerball this weekend, I'll hire a sitter & load the '85 Wagon on a trailer & be there!!! :D

Otherwise, I'll just have to enjoy it vicariously via your pics & reports :boohoo

This year will be a blast. Dress for warm weather and be prepared to work and learn. I'll probably bring a freshly detailed vehicle there just so I can help out others and give some rotary advice...or maybe bring a real beater to try to bring back...Those are always fun.

Come to FL: to Autogeek or 4 Star probably most appropriately, there's plenty of heat and plenty of sun to polish under down here.

I can probably sneak away and be there on the 25th, especially for pointers from Steve on some of his products and to pick up rotary tips from Sean! :dancin

Tentative attendee here. I enjoyed myself last year and will try to attend again. I bought so much product from Steve last year that I still have some left over - like a nearly full 32 oz bottle of ProPolish. At this rate the PP should last me another 30 years!

Sean,

I have a real beater I'm bringing if you want to demonstrate. Its a 95 Passat that looks like it had a Brillo wash......

I was gonna try the PC, but I really think a rotary will be the only way to go....

Of course, maybe if you just stand next to it, the swirls will get scared and leave on their own....
:bow

Hey Steve;
I am in for one of those days. Probably Sat. Had a great time last year

Now you KNOW I have to bring the Poorboys World car! Yep, the SC430 will be there and it still has the EX/Nattys from last year on it. Granted, it's garaged, but it still glows like all hell.

I'll bring the extra pads, micro's, polishers (PC and Makita rotary) and other items. Hey, there's only so much I can fit in the limited trunk area!!
Maybe another side-by-side of Souveran/Nattys on the hood this time or rear trunk area!

Once again for those who doubt the products, please view this car when I get there. It's a "shining tribute" to Steve and the products!

I'll shoot for both days! I'm sure the wife will once again run up the credit card at Woodbury! :lol

If anyone needs or wants me to bring aything else, please PM me!

I'll see you there!

Regards,
Deanski
