You have given so much too all of us, please let us know what we can do, to be of help. Thoughts are with your daughter, and family.

Steve, you are in our prayers! May God watch over you and your family.

Hey everyone! I just heard from Steve. His daughter Cayla was admitted into the hospital. The doctors are still running tests, but she has a very high fever and they suspect she has some type of infection. Steve will be offline during this ordeal, but he wanted me to let people know that this was not a recurrence of his other daughter Lana's cancer.

Let's all keep Steve's family in our thoughts.

Thank you for letting us know. There are a lot of folks on here & Autopia (and other places too) that are concerned for them.

Sorry to hear that Steve, you guys are in our thoughts and prayers. I think we need a big DC prayer meeting for everyone that has fallen to illness or other misfortune :kneel

Steve,

I was hoping something like this wouldn't happened when we were talking the other night. Please let me know if I can do anything to help.

God Bless your family!!

Marj - Thanks for the clarification. Certainly it's of no less concern, but I'm relieved that it is not a recurrence of Lana's cancer. Prayers for Steve and his whole family.

Eric - Good to hear from you - You're in our thoughts and prayers, too!

Gary - Sounds like DC could use a "big ol' prayer meeting"!

marj, thanks for the info.

I'm too new here to know about the cancer issue but prayers are being offered daily.

Thank you for keeping us informed. There are a lot of people here who are really on edge waiting for updates. It's surprising how much a person can grow to care about someone they've only met on line. I know I sure NEED to be kept up to date. I honestly do worry and I know others do. I felt a big surge of relief that it's not a reoccurance of cancer but that was at once replaced with a big worry about what is wrong.

Marj, Thanks for being the info conduit.
Steve, You and your family are lucky to have as many people pulling you as there are here. I have never met you or any DC members personally, but that doesn't stop us from pulling together in times of need. Not to intentionally hijack this thread, but please keep ours DC family members in Florida in our thoughts also, two storms done and one more heading their way! Keep safe guys. Prayers all around:kneel
