the car that won- Torred Red Challenger R/T

attachment.php

the job he won is an exterior detail with only Poorboy`s Products (well I guess I will have to use something else for claying as I`m a synthetic mitt kind of guy)- I didn`t set an expectation that I would polish it, but I`m not ruling that possibility out either

So first off I`ve never worked on a car with decals so I know I`m going to need to tape them off but what can I put on them? I`ve been using Optiseal and/or Celeste Dettaglio on matte/vinyl)

here`s my plan

Super Slick and Suds 2bm
Rinse
clay mitt w/ suds
Rinse

PWC Blue (thanks Dwayne)- its swirl city and IF I do a one step that`s all he`s getting is a one step + Natty`s Black (because it fills more than Blue, right?)

Other options without polishing- BLACK HOLE via duetto (quick and easy)- EXc - Natty`s Black.

Steve, Dwayne, Ron, anyone?

I want to make this as little steps as possible since it`s free BUT I also want to give him something he tells his friends about ALL the time, you know?

Thanks in advance

-Brandt K.

oh btw this might be happening this coming Wednesday when he gets back from a road trip to Cali in that car (glad I have BS and the Bug mesh towels!)

*the only PB I don`t have is PWC (white) and Master Cut and SSR3 , I have every other PB polish/lsp I do believe (and don`t have clay lube or bird s#!t remover)

Black hole by machine - DO NOT REMOVE HAZE
then
Natty`s red or black, then remove both together

For real??? I only have liquid blue and liquid red. For pastes, I only have Black. I`m getting the things as needed (tricks my mind)

Ron, sometimes I wonder if you`re joking. But that sounds interesting and I will try it down the line.

but then if i forget then its lost for good haha, sorry:notme:

haha... yeah, i know what you mean. I use "thread tools" and subscribe to some threads where I don`t post. I tend to forget threads/posts.

I`m also curious about what to do about the vinyl. Before the end of June, I`ll be working on a lil red racer with heavy vinyl / stickers and wonder what will I do?
