Poorboys EX-P on Klasse SG, other sealants

2004 Civic EX magnesium
I generally use PB EX-P on friends/family cars but I want to use it on my silver-ish Honda Civic. However, I just finished putting on a few layers of SG a week ago and I really don't want to take it off after all that work, nor do I want to wait for it to "wear off" in a few months.

Can I layer PB EX-P ontop of Klasse SG? For that matter, can PB EX-P be layered on top of other sealants as well?

I forgot the general rule of thumb -- I remember for some reason I can't layer something like Glanz Wax at all, it removes earlier layers. Can someone refresh my memory while answering the specific PB-Klasse question?

I think I remember that the Glanz Wax is very "solventy." It may or may not have cleaning ability, not sure about that, but I believe the stuff in the wax is prone to stripping off previous wax/sealant. There was a thread on it a while back, I don't even remember if it was on DC or not. :dunno

I would imagine that you can go right ahead and use the EX-P over the SG (or other sealants) with no ill effect.

Thanks Jared......you're right, we had a few threads on layering back in the fall and the key issue was if the sealant had solvents in it. Glanz did; EX-P and SG definitely don't. In this case, I know SG and EX-P can layer themselves, but wanted to know if EX-P will bond to my SG layers.

Thanks again!

Would the same apply to UPP -- or does that need to bond right to the paint finish or another UPP layer, as opposed to other sealants?

Dwayne ???

yea?!? i wanan know too. sealants over selants may be tricky, but selants over acrylic makes me wonder? anyone? poorboy, dwayne?
