Poorboys Detail - 2000 Acura Intregra black - lots of pics

Hey, Trent, right? I was taken aback when I started viewing this thread and saw my old car!! We're so happy you're keeping it looking nice! Jaime misses the car, but we love the new MDX.

I found a courtesy key for the Integra. PM me your address and I'll mail it out to you. I hope your son is enjoying the car!

very impressive! love the smooth shine :D
Can someone explain the rave about the clay? I've only ever used Meg's clay before. What's the difference?

One more question...why the blue tape? does your wax stain the trim? I always thought it was only porous plastic you needed to worry about....or am I way in left field?

I love the Black color. I know that my step son would love to drive a car such as this. Nice looking detail!

I hope somebody answers the question about the clay. I have three clay bars sitting around the garage and each is of a different color. Grey, red or pink(I am not real good on colors) and the last one is yellow. Non of them was called Ricardo clay

This is a quote from Mike (Calgary Detail) from another thread regarding the Ricardo clay.

" It a super elasticy clay, it does not crumble or break, i have left it in buckets of water over night and its still fine. It is juist a great clay, lots of bite but dosnet marr the hell out of your pants, holds toghter well and its just plain easier to work with comapred to the traditional grey clay"

Personally I have only used PB's clay and Ricardo. Both these clays work great IMO. There are other clays on the market that have different abrasive levels which are different colors. I cannot tell you which color is which abrasvie level and ? might vary by mfg.

As far as the blue tape - I use it to protect the rubber moldings from the pads on the buffer. As far as PB's PwS staining the moldings - Steve would have to chime in on that. I know from experience on my Bonneville - I didn't quite cover enough on the front windshield rubber molding and I ended up with a rub mark from the pad.
