Poorboys Detail - 2000 Acura Intregra black - lots of pics

I bought this car for my son from a part time detailer locally here last September. This car was in perfect shape when I took delivery of it. Inside/Outside/Engine compartment. My hats off to Brian for doing such a great job and keeping this car in perfect condition.

So on Sunday, I decided to freshen it up.

PB Spray & Wipe
Riccardo clay (woo hoo)
PB S&W mixed with 50/50 with water for clay lube

PC
PB PwS with CCS white polishing pad
PB PwS with DMT in tight areas by hand
PB EX-P - 2 coats immediately followed with microfiber applicator dampened with water

Inside is maintained by my son using

PB Natural Look – on all interiors

My first use of the Riccardo clay – There was so little contamination on the car that I did not get a good feel for how much contamination it could actually remove. See pictures. I did like the tackiness and elasticity of the clay, each bar is 2 oz, which is a pretty good slab of clay to work with. Not much of a review this time around.

PB PwS did a wonderful job of removing the minor swirls.

The before pictures are in the garage. The after pictures are outside.

Total time – 6 hours – including waiting for the EXP to haze for each coat.

Nice job :bigups Isn't it fun working on black :passout:

Yes, there's nothing like the yellow clay, I know I'm hoarding a bunch of it myself :D

Wow, that GS-R is in great shape! I think it needs to be lowered though but that's just me, hehe.

Looks like you got yourself a nice GS-R there! They are getting harder and harder to come by. Great job on the detail!

Yeah it was - the good thing about this black car was that it was in great shape to begin with

Nice work there red :bigups. Looks like a fun car to ride around with. :rockon

It is very nice, but kind of a bumpy ride.

Lowered - I wouldn't be able to get out of it if it was any lower. :rofl

Thanks - it is in great shape. We have the 17" summer tires on it right now and we have the original 15" Acura rims with snow tires on it for the winter.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Looks great, not enjoying the reflection pics too much :rofl just kiddin. I am jealous that you have riccardo clay

Excellent work! I'm jealous of the clay!

How is the PB EXP? I've not tried it yet. It is a sealant like the DP or WDGS, or no?

I was talking about the
camera. ;)

Yes you are correct about the camera. I was wondering why I couldn't think of what kind of car you were talking about... LOL

Since I only have ever used PB's products... I cannot answer about the DP or WDGS.... I love the look of EXP on the dark colored vehicles. Here are two more photos of the GSR from this past detail I missed.
