Just One More Coat
Ok I got an extra large order from Steve here recently and decided to try one of his caps out.
The first thing that I noticed was the quality of the material 100% cotton fine woven from the Philippines. The color of stitching matched the material exactly. The logo, I think that is Steve, was centered perfectly on the front of the cap, and the stitching and color combination gives it a 3D effect. The logo seems to look like a 50's style guy with a tuxedo on and sporting a Frank Sinatra style hat, pulling the linings out of his pants. (see pics attached)
Inside the cap the head band and ribs are of a soft but sturdy black material that seems like it will absorb quite a bit of detail day sweat.
The front inside portion of the cap has a sturdy white thick style material that holds the front of the cap from sagging, thus keeping the logo standing up and straight.
Although this is not a fitted cap one would think. The sizing band in the back has a brass looking square lock, and an insert for the extra sizing belt to tuck back into the headliner of the cap. This is a material belt not those cheaply plastic ones with snaps that you line up. Thus making this not only a detailing cap but one you could wear out on the town for the evening.
The bill was something that really impressed me it was not one of these caps that you have to wear for a while before you feel like it’s curved just right. NOT THIS ONE! Comes with a nice curve that fits well right out of the box, has a very natural feel right off.
Packaging this cap came in a clear sealed plastic bag that was neatly tucked into those foam peanuts that go all over your garage when you open the box.
Comes in two colors red that one I got, and a lighter blue both have the same color logo
The application is that it slips on and off with ease with only one hand
Can be used in cooler weather or shade highly recommend for use in sun
Cost was $12.95 each or two for $25.00 plus S&H
All in all this was sort of a joke to have fun, but this really is a great baseball cap and I have a collection of them. I wore mine for about 3 days and called Steve back and placed an order for two more. The cool thing about this is no one knows who the logo is and I always get asked where did you get that or who is that?
I just smile and say "why it’s Poorboy"
