Ive used it before with my Porter Cable DA and medium pad with less than stellar results...
Easily gummed up (did I over work it? ) and I didn't get any noticeable reduction in haze/swirls (after polishing) or an enhanced shine.
I plan on revisiting it again, by hand this time, as I live in an apartment currently and the car is in a common lot, so machine polishing is out of the question...but I still want a decent finish on black metallic paint.
I also plan on a simple spray on LSP wax...gonna test out Turtle Wax Jet Black, a tinted spray in wipe off wax.
As an aside, I remember a few years back the father in law doing his once a year wax job on his Pontiac using original Turtle Wax and a dollar-store grade DA...and I was totally stunned at how well it hid/covered the swirls and scratches!!! It was a very nice finish. Lol
