Doing a detial tomorrow on a 04 Pontiac GTO...Looking for suggestions. It has minimal swirling. It is a lighter blue / teal green color.

Thanks

Can't think of anything out of the ordinary to tell you, really. Just take your time polishing and remember the little things.

The GTO I detailed didn't have hard cleacoat, so you shouldn't be in for any suprises. They are very nice vehicles up close so have fun!! :)

-I just remembered if your working with halogens, you might see these weird marks that look like streaks (rear fenders on the one I did) It is actually under the clearcoat and has something to do with the painting process which caused it. So if you end up seeing something like that don't be alarmed...not sure if its common or if this was an isolated case.

My GTO has a very hard clearcoat. Bring some Scratch-X along to polish around the rear license plate as you'll never fit a PC in there. Pay special attention to the lower rocker panels under the doors as this is a common place to find scratching from people getting in and out. Bring some small brushes to clean the wheel wells as there is not much space there.
