Has anyone ever tried these? I noticed these for sale on ebay and they claimed they would do away with swirls.

there a lot of products that are "polymer sealants" What is the name of the one on E bay? Also do a searh here for polymer sealants and see what you get:)

Eagle wax on ebay. From Japan. Seems like strange stuff to me. I wonder if a guy would have trouble getting it off if he did not like it.

The reason that people choose polymers is because they last for a long time and look great. If you are wondering if you could take it off if you didn't like it, then the answer would be yes; but with some amount of difficutly. Polymers bond to the paint and can't be removed by a simple washing. You may need to use a paint cleaner to strip it off. Its possible that a Dawn wash could do the trick, but a paint cleaner and a clay job would probably do a more complete job of it.

Definatly do a search on polymer sealants here. Zaino, Blackfire, Platinum, #20, and Klasse are all forms of polymer sealants. The benefits of each product are different and opinions vary on all of them. Good luck! :xyxthumbs

The sealants will last approximately 6 months (compared to a month of carnauba). Sealants have superior uv protection and so forth. Many of these better sealants mentioned can be combined with carnauba wax for best of both worlds.

Just to add: Dawn washing strips #20 off my vehicles right quick!

Really? Interesting, because Dawn won't budge Zaino or Klasse....

Well, I can only assume so. Before washing, the water micro-beads and after, it sheets off and the paint just looks a bit "dull." Don't know how else to explain it. Of course, I usually only have one coat of #20 on. Those of you who have 3+ layers of your chosen poly-sealant may need more strength to remove it.
