Polycharger test
The test vehicle is my neighbors neglected Ranger Rover. Shows the condition of the hood after a quick waterless wash. Feels like sandpaper

To get the paint ready to accept the sealant, used ONR solution and clay bar.

WG Paint Cleanser applied by hand with a damp mf towel

Inspecting the paint to confirm that it passed the plastic baggie test.

WG Sealant and CH2 Polycharger solution. Will apply by hand via foam pad

Mixed test solution of CH2 & WG Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0 and finished applying both halves of the test at 2pm

The drivers' side half of the hood applied with polycharger version. Passenger side applied with straight sealant that's not been polycharged.

Performed swipe test after allowing the LSP to set up for 45 minutes and the panel was good to go. Two gold jr mf, short nap for first wipe and long nap for final wipe. One observation worth noting even now is that the polycharged side was much easier to remove then the straight sealant. IMO, that alone would make me consider the product-stay tune as I will continue to update in the next several weeks.

My plan is to wait 30 days and do both a visual, feel and water bead test and report back. Just would like to say thanks again to Todd for the kit and hope this review will ultimate help.
Nice post... Buy I gotta tell you, claying with a ring is asking for disaster
Good point and yes, I "always" remove my ring before working on the car....but I was in a hurry and forgot to be honest. But thanks for the heads up.
Great review Stuart!...
This reminds me, I have to find my ring....

did you think the polycharged side of the hood had any extra gloss compared to just the sealant only side ? i thought both sides of the hood looked pretty good in the photos.
p.s. congrats on the win !
Not really. In terms of gloss, I could not see any difference between the panels. Now that could change as you get further out if the polycharged side has more staying power, but not at the time of application.
Here's an updated shot of the hood after a morning rain. Personally I couldn't see a difference but it's only been a little more than a month and the vehicle is mostly garage kept. Remember the driver's half is treated with the poly booster and the passenger side straight up sealant.
