Pollen Season Returns...............

Old Pirate

AMG Classic Car Detailing
Well it started here about 2 weeks ago and it's at full strength. I always keep my rides clean and protected with Blackfire Wet Diamond and with Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray and with FK1 this part of the year. What are you using or plan to use when the pollen comes knocking on your car? and yourself too!

BTW I know some of your are dealing with old man winter still, but this pollen is crazy here in Florida.

Caifornia car duster(very lightly !) .:bigups

And Klasse sealant glaze keeps things slick.

We got yellow pollen here too the past couple weeks .

Pretty much a lost cause here it St. Pete Angelo. I use FK425 which provides a little slickness; however, if it's humid when I leave for work in the morning it will dry to the finish.

Yes indeed, it's a really a nasty season this year here in Palm Harbor too.

It is still 3 to 4 weeks for us before the pollen starts. The Bradford pears will be starting soon.

:wallDont remind me.... I remember last year it sucked soooo bad. If a customer dropped their car off for any service and didn't pick it up with in an hour of being done it had a yellow tint on it and they would always complain. We were going through 5 gallons of QD spray every cpl weeks from dusting cars down. The pollen is just sticky enough that you cant blow it off with compressed air... Not looking forward to this!! Thanks for reminding me Angelo!!!!:rofl

Did a ONR wash this morning before work and now it looks like I didn't even touch the car.......:wall

Have you tried a Ca.car duster? It works great for me! I just vacume the yellow dust off when it accumulates on the duster.

love living in oregon. no humidity but i have found allergies. the pollen where is live is amazing. turn a dark green car yellow in a couple hours. never in my life had allergies till i got here. still wouldn't trade it for anything. we are the grass seed capital of the world and it shows sometimes.

Yeah but after couple uses they seem to put micro scratches in the paint.. Or maybe I'm doing it wrong?
Ive never had that problem ever and use one regularily before presenting the vehicle to a customer. You dont use any presure at all and just barely touch the paint surface with the duster. But it could be your dealing with a more aggressive pollen then what we have here.Theres different kinds of pollen.

They also dont work well in high humidity and can cause streaks .

That video is terrible!

Spray and Wipe cleans it right up for me ..... if it's too bad than a quick wash with Super Slick and Wax will help it not stick again
