I haven't used them for that but I can't see why it wouldn't. I started using a microfiber towels for rinseless and I prefer it. My old wool mitts would get real dirty (stained) and I felt like I couldn't see the dirt and if it was rinsed well enough.

Valid, they're sold out on pakshak anyways. I do have a ton of MF towels so maybe I'll just stick with that for now.

I use a sponge because it is the easiest thing to grip and also the lightest to work with when loaded up with soapy water.

I always hesitate to use sponges because I feel like they will cause marring to the paint. I do want to try the sea sponge though.

I wash with a scotchbrite pad and dry with an old cut up t-shirt.

JK!

I use both chenille and sheepskin mitts. I like sheepskins for their softness and ability to hold suds and chenille for their cleaning ability even with little to no pressure.

I have used a sponge from another detailing place but while it seems very safe it just does not seem to clean as well without a lot of downward pressure (at least more than I am used to) and seems to miss some spots. I know the wool mitts will be heavier just due to mitt and retained soap so it automatically adds more pressure to paint from gravity (at least on vertical surfaces).

I want to try it again with ONR since it stays clean.
