Just curious how many details everyone does on average during their "on" season. For the sake of the poll, let's only count full exterior details (polishing)...standard washes don't count.

Pros feel free to vote as well. :)

I do between 1 and 3, sometimes 0. Just depends really. Ive had weeks i had to turn them down and some i get no calls at all.

I usually do mine every 2 weeks. I have a large vehicle so I can't always do it every week. Plus I only drive it on weekends and it only sits in a covered carport during weekdays.

This time of year im the most busy, alot of show/custom/antique/high end cars coming out to play again and the owners wanting "the works" for their baby's.

Usually 1-2 for me(just on the weekends). Business has been good this year for me(don't do it for a living), been detailing 1-2 cars every weekend for the last 4 weeks, and have many more to do.

Interesting poll.

The shop I used when I owned the Cadillac dealership did about 30 cars per day, 6 days per week. Seems there arent many shops like that anymore.

That's about what my shop does too. Each person did 3-5 complete details per day.

This is a third job for me so I only do one per wekend. I also am an office manager 40hrs per week, I umpire softball three nights a week, and play softball two nights a week.

Ya, by myself. Generally I have 5-7 polishing jobs a week. Some take a full day, some don't. Then I have another 5 or so new car preps or wash & waxes. It makes for long days but tis the season, right?
