Bought my first car in 1970 or maybe it was 1971, a yellow Toyota Celica ST and my last car this year, a 2012 black Porsche 911S. Guess I enjoy a new ride evey now and then. The 911 is my 14th car. :D

Good as time as any to make my first post, I suppose... voted 7-10, let's see if I can count them off:
1994 and 1996 Ford Crown Victorias (both white), both former Police Interceptors; a 1992 Saturn SL2 (blue-green) that I never learned to drive (first stick shift) but it was technically mine; 1995 Subaru Legacy L (taupe), the car that never let me down; 1992 Subaru SVX LS-L (black), the first car I did any performance work to and the one that got me started in the world of detailing; 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo T-Bar (red, of course), probably the most enjoyable car I've owned and the car that forced me to learn stick, and the one that makes me work the hardest to keep up with the finish; 2008 Subaru Legacy 3.0R (quartz silver), my "grown-up" car that's still some fun :) Currently still driving the last two, at least until I sell the more fun one :(

Fun question, made me really think and count them all up. I had forgotten how many cars I've gone through!

On my 7th.Since I only drive about 7 thousand miles a year , hope its the last vehicle I ever have to buy!

Probably wont happen though!:D

The wife recently cleaned out a box that contained over 15 titles of 55-57 chevys that I had cut up over the yrs and sold for parts. Add to that the fact when I was single I switched or traded cars every few months. So it would be pretty hard to remember the actual number of cars I have run through. Some that stand out in my past include a 57 e-series T-Bird , a Anglia wagon w/small block chevy ,40 Chevy master deluxe, 57 olds 98 w/3duces , 62 Lark (old south bend police car), 53 chevy w/301 sb , 59 Impala rag-top ,Austin Healy sprite and on and on. You have to take into consideration that at one time cars could be bought for 50-100 dollars all day long. It sure brings back a lot of memories though.

Wow some of you guys are INSANE with the cars you have owned!

Like Paul S said above cars were cheap back then. When I (finally) got to a land base in the Navy people were constantly being shipped in & out. Those leaving had a car to sell, those arriving needed a car. I became the middle man buying, fixing up, driving for a while, then selling. One was a '58 Ford wagon with a 352 CI Police Interceptor engine, three on the tree, and overdrive....that made it a five speed. I paid $50 for it and sold it for a nice profit down the way.
