:o I eat in my car while I'm driving every day- often that's the only time I have to eat lunch. So, vacuuming out the crumbs between the seats and console with the long skinny attachment has become routine :hairpull

Just nothing messy. I try to keep fast food out of the "good" cars because I don't like the smell, but it's not a biggie; I just air them out if it bothers me. But then I'm just as fanatical about eating neatly as I am about most everything else :o

Heh heh, I *did* learn at an early age that coffee and light gray fabrics/carpet don't play well together :o

I'm on the road almost every day. I would starve if I didn't eat in my car. And I won't tell you the other things I do in there. :chuckle:

I used to eat lunch in my car back when I was in high school. Taco bell, McD, or Subway everyday. Now I usually just drink, but only water since I've basically cut soda/juice out of my diet.

I'm surprised that apples have come up. Don't you guys have problems with your hands getting all sticky? And when I chomp an apple, I always get juice sprayed from the apple. I wouldn't want apple juice spots all over my steering wheel.

I don`t eat in my truck, but every time I go through the drive-up bank teller, she gives me dog biscuits for my dog (Kyla) who is usually riding shot gun. O`boy the first time I gave her the large biscuit she ate it and it crumbled all over and inside the truck!!:soscared: So now I receive the biscuits I break them outside the window then give them to her in smaller portions, problem solved. :woohoo:

That's funny. Giving dog biscuits must be a drive-thru banking thing. The banks do the same thing here also. :xyxthumbs

My dogs are trained not to except food from strangers, so these gifts are held until we get home. I give them to him or her(s) and they think that I am giving them the treat. No mess and the dogs and I are happy after I clean the side glass. :bigups

Heh heh, mine also know that they're generally not allowed to eat in the vehicles.

You are correct Accumulator by using the word generally. I should have. Not sure if my dogs are trained well enough no to accept a tainted (poisoned) piece of grilled sirloin from some dog hater. :cooleek:

Somewhat of a sad commentary of our social that we must train "man's best friend" to distrust a gift bearing strange. :(

I will do it if needed. Overall, we try to avoid eating in the cars, but with a few little ones sometimes that is not possible.

It's hot down here especially if I'm working. I always drink in my truck but I rarely use a cup or anything open. It's always a bottle with a screw lid.

I can because it’s my own damn fault if I get anything messy, but never do I let someone else eat. I really don't even like letting people sit in my car.... Does that indicate a problem?

This poll reminds me of a time back when I was in high school. I had an old Buick that my parents gave me, I was proud as hell to be driving it. I washed that thing 3 times a week, even when there was snow.

I went to pick up my girlfriend from college along with her roommate who lived in our town. The roommate was eating a hamburger before we were leaving and she asked, "do you mind if I eat in your car?" I politely told her that I would prefer that she finished it prior to us leaving. We are about 10 minutes into the trip when I look in my rear view mirror and see her sneaking little bites from her burger and then hiding it under her coat. I quickly yelled, "What the hell are you doing?!".

Needless to say this whole thing bothered me for several weeks, my girlfriend got pissed off and wouldn't talk to me all weekend, and the roommate was never very nice to me after that. Looking back, I should have left her *** on the side of the road.

My wife, kids and I eat in the car. Sometimes when we are on the road we will get a bite to eat. I try and pick up some thing that is not too messy if there is an accident. I am also pretty sure that I can clean just about any interior mess up.

However, when we get a new car the rules might change :)

if i didnt eat breakfast at home before i go to school, i'll eat a few gronolla bars and chase them down with a bottle of water

i like to have some sort of snack when im driving for extended periods of times like banans, gronolla bars, water, maybe even an orange
