I was recently eating a sesame bagel while driving.. Let's just say there are little sesame seeds everywhere. I'm wondering what true Autopians feel about eating in their own cars.

Honestly the only thing that holds me back is having my car smell like food. I will eat in my car but I don't allow passengers to simply because they wouldn't be as careful as I am.

I drink only, but I wont like no body eat in my car. But now my kid is 3.5 years old, I let her eat like crackers and other dried food. No pizza, burger, burrito, chicken, etc in my car :har:

I only eat foods that require minor cleanups if need be. I am mobile most of the time and don't have the luxury of having time to dine in so eating in the teg is rather normal, but a practiced process.

I only drink in the car, since I can use the cup holders. Eating in the car unavoidably leaves grease and crumbs.

I too only drink in my car. Passengers are told upfront that it is a "no eating zone."

I don't want to clean the interior anymore than I have to.

I don`t eat in my truck, but every time I go through the drive-up bank teller, she gives me dog biscuits for my dog (Kyla) who is usually riding shot gun. O`boy the first time I gave her the large biscuit she ate it and it crumbled all over and inside the truck!!:soscared: So now I receive the biscuits I break them outside the window then give them to her in smaller portions, problem solved. :woohoo:

Yeah I confess, I eat in my car.

Sandwiches, apples and maybe the occasional hotdog, eaten by adults only when on country trips.

Either way, the interior gets a quick vacuum every week.

As much as my wife might argue that I think the opposite, my car isn't some sacred shrine. I carry a detailing emergency kit in the trunk that can handle pretty much anything that might happen. :D

Same here. I regularly eat at the Dashboard Diner.

I am guilty, my car always looks terrible, i'm always too busy doing someone elses, or at least that's the excuse i give. by the time i work 9to5 on my feet mon-fri, and detail sat and sun, i'm too beat and the last thing i think about is cleaning my own car. I'm a bad autopian...WIll change soon, gonna detail the interior and wash the outside(just polished it a month ago) and then a no eating, drinks with caps only policy will become effective, unless on long trips.

Not and wont eat or drink at all in the Clio. Daily driver all the time though!

Even ate a few times in the old concours car, had a seat cover on so I didnt see a problem!

Always but usually garage food (i.e. sandwiches, drinks etc) but it's my daily car and I don't mind vacuuming it now & again. My daughter eats in it regularly and rarely makes a mess but it's a car not a religion!

I used to eat and drink in the Maxima. I'd keep it down to just dry foods though. No picking up a pizza and grabbing a slice before I get home. If my hands would get sticky or greasy at all, I won't touch it. Dry stuff like chips and cereal are no big deal, since they just get vacuumed right out.

I'll probably have the same process for eating/drinking in the Protege. It's been 4 days now since I got it and I haven't even driven it yet (except back home). Too busy detailing!
