at 59 some of us have run the odometer around a few times so, "it's not the years, it's the mileage" no wait, "it's the years and the mileage", forget it, now i'm tired and need to take a nap with my dogs.
I'm with you! Just about noon me and the three dogs take a nap every day if I can. I'm 68 :)

Steve, this is absolutely spot on my friend!! :yourrock

Not that I'm really old or anything but I do remember when rainbows where in black and white. Will be 63 this Aug and dont't mind hard work. I can lay down right next to it and it dosen't bother me a bit. I decided not to attend any more class reunions because there were nothing there but a bunch of old people.lol. Got two married kids and four grandkids with another on the way. Life is good and I don't plan on leaving any time soon.

i grew up in noblesville in the era of opie and andy. town was real small. since we are the same age i bet you can relate to that.

Yep. I use to call Indy the biggest one horse town in the world. I'm within 12 miles of the hospital where I was born and still live in my "starter home" that I bought in 73. I'm just glad I don't have to rely on "Kit" wax by Johnson or Simonize to make cars shine anymore. :D.

Polls show that this isn't necessarily such a young man's game!

I think that patience is very much a part of what we do. I am much more patient with things than I used to be. (Well, at least with inanimate objects. My patience with people is still pretty short.(And even shorter with stupid people.))

I was thinking the same thing. :rockon

Not wanting to lump all young kids into the same group but there are so many other things available to take their interest in other directions. Between gaming ,internet and being busy raising a family along with a host of other activities, there are a lot of various things keeping them busy . As we age and get into a less hectic lifestyle more time becomes available for our special interest and hobbies. Just a look at life through an old mans eyes.lol.
