I've posted my Klasse pictures before on that red car. They are up in my gallery if you want to have a look at them. AIO did a fantastic job of working off the oxidation on a car with no clear. If you are trying to make the car look as good as a car with a clear then you need to give that up right now. You can make it look pretty good, but you'll never get a shine and reflection like a car with a clear coat on it. AIO, among a dozen other products, will help restore it to its fabulous non clear coat shine though.

Check out Menzerna at CMA - www.properautocare.com

I pretty sure that product with a PC will do the trick.;)

I find it interesting that this unreviewed product would be suggested though. We assume it would do the trick. I really see no reason why it wouldn't. I just think its funny that it would be the first suggestion. I don't think any of us have ever even used it yet.

Clinton,

I dont' have much experience with non-clear-coated cars, but have you seen this thread?

28 Year Old British Paint

If your paint is in really bad shape, you might want to consider doing something similar to what another member here did (as seen in the link above). He revived his non-clear coated paint using 3M Fine Cut rubbing compound followed by applications of 3M Finesse-It II. If you click the links to his album, you'll see that this car has a show-room finish.

Here's another link to an interesting article on reviving paint that's in terrible condition.

Keep in mind that these were both major projects that will take several hours. Depending on how bad your paint is and how good of a job you wish to do, you might be able to get decent results with just a high quality compound, followed by a polish (regardless of whether or not it's clear-coated).

The Klasse worked really well on a green Exploer I did with no clear.

i also used the Farecla G3 then G10 and it reallly did an awsoem job.

Because it's a really gru=itty compound you just have to be care full not to go to deep. And next time I will use an old bonnet because the paint soaks into it, An d I used a brand new one at the time
