polishing headlights with PC?

Would it be ok do polish headlights with poorboys SSR1 with a polishing pad or would they get messed up? What do you guys recommend?
 
i've used the pc with a 6.5" polishing pad & plastx (haven't used a polish or compound on headlights yet) on headlights with good results. i'll probably use a 4" pad next time though....
 
Most every car on the road is using "plastic" lenses now. 4" pad is a better option so that you can get into the tight corners. Do be careful not to overheat the lens as you can distort it.

A PC can overheat plastic?
 
I suggest PlastX on headlights, but when I run out I use Zymol and coat it with Meguiars Gold Class. usually by hand but a 4" sounds about right
