Ive always had trouble polishing tight weird spots because the polisher doesnt fit in all the places even with a smaller pad. What should i do for polishing weird tight spots on a car? Check out the pic below, give me some advice on what to do on a front bumper like so....

3" pad, hand polishing, using the edge of the pad. Find what works for each situation, test and check results.

often by hand. the 3" griot's da is a nice addition if you can afford it. i've seen a rotary using the pad edge and a pad extension get into some pretty tight places too.

one of those ball busters from cg are handy, I have a 2.5" for tight spots but they make 3" and 5" too

that is the only option to clean/polish/wax the area you are showing above, other than by hand

Surprised you didn't ask about the spot under door handles, its called the door handle cup. It usually has lots of fingernail scrapes all across it from hands reaching under to grab the door handle.

What will always work no matter where - will be a cotton towel, they even make some sown together almost all the way around, like a very small sock,, that you can put a couple of fingers in.

Sometimes that is all you can do to get to those really thin tight spots.

I like to use Meguiars 105 under those door handle cups and other tight areas, because it will absolutely clean and smooth out anything pretty quickly, and leave great gloss, using the little cotton towel end or that sock I mentioned.. I get it on the cotton, rub the spot until the compound breaks down and thins out completely, and usually, that is all it takes..

You want to be able to correct quickly, with 1 step, get great gloss, and you are done..

I love to finish inside the door handle cups with two coats of BFWD.
Maybe it's my evil side but I like watching their hand slide off the door handle when they grab it.

I have advocated this for a long time.. make sure to get gas pedals clean, under the door handle polished and slick, the instruments streak free. Anywhere the driver will touch, feel or see regularly should be perfectly detailed. IT makes a huge difference. :bigups

As far as the tight spots, sometimes you just gotta be creative.
