Polishing/Cleaning CF?

Hi guys,



I recently got a Carbon Fiber (CF) Spoiler for my STi similar to one you would see on a EVO VIII. In any case i got this thing shipped from Japan and well its dull in some areas and has minor scratches. I was wondering if there is a polish or a way to "sand" the CF to make it more uniform and smooth?



I have never heard of this since i am not a big fan of CF however now with the spoiler i would like to keep it in good condition and also would like to buff out scratches etc.



Any help would be nice.

Mike Phillips did a carbon fiber hood a while back with ScratchX by hand. If you have a pc or rotary you can use either #83, or #80 if the defects are not as serious. Here's a link to the one he did, http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=2633&perpage=10&pagenumber=3
