Polishing by hand

LOL, yeah, with all the time we've spent on what to do you probably could've just done it with *something* and, well, been done with it ;)
 
Another option is colorX and NXT.



ColorX is a strong cleaner/wax, that offers some swirl hiding.



ColorX is very overlooked IMO.

he's right. dark colored cars and your hand don't mix. it can be done, sure, but i think a PC is a wise investment. otherwise, i would just wait till you got a PC to do the job, personally.
 
For the oxidation, i'd go colorX. Best you can do without killing your arms is to remove the oxidation. Swirl removal is better left to the PC/Rotary, unless you have the luxury of doing 1 panel at a time over a long period of time.
 
If you want to do itall by hand, go for it. I just did my ram quad cab with clay, scratch remover, cleaner, sealer, SX. Took along time, but the scratch remover did a fair -good job. I will now buy a PC and save my self the hasssle in the future. good luck
