This Car belongs to a Customer that brings the car to me every month as part of a maintainance plan to keep the car looking A1 condition, it received full paint correction by myself around 5 months ago now ( i think) :)

He does a very good job of keeping it clean most of the time so it never needs a huge amount of work, the paint is also stupidly soft, i'd say its actually softer than the likes of Honda paint etc.

So this is what the Process was and the pics follow :)

Wash:

- Meguiars Hyper Wash through the gilmour

- Rinsed with the Karcher

- Meguiars Hyper Wash through the gilmour again

- 2 bucket method with Meguiars Shampoo Plus & Lambswool Wash mits

- Wheels Cleaned with normal shampoo and water and Megs wheel brush

- Rinsed with open ended hose

- Dried with PB Waffle Weave using Pat dry method

Polish:

- Menzerna PO85RD Via PC & Meguiars finishing Pad @ Speed 5

- Blackfire Wet Diamond via German Applicator Pad

- Meguiars Nxt Glass Cleaner on glass

- Chemical guys Trim Gel on trim

- Blackfire Long Lasting Tyre Gel on tyres

This car is always a pleasure to do as the paint has very little orange peel so the final results are always rewarding, as can be seen from some of the reflection shots :)

what's gilmour and karcher ? and how come people use the machine to polish then hand polish after ? isn't the machine enough ?? and if you were' to use machine, do you put the polish on the machine or paint ? im pretty much new at detailing. im also wondering if you'd do the same for waxing.... machine wax then hand wax. is paste wax usually used on machine waxing ? and what's it mean by "pop" ? thanks much
