polish suggestion please...

i'm going to order a new line of polishes to try out

i'm been using meguiar's for a long time and 3M sometimes

i want to try out some other polishes that people seem to love

so, i'm trying to decide which one?

poorboy's

menzerna

optimum

i'm leaning toward poorboy's, not only because it's cheaper than the other 2,

but also because so many people have told me how easy it is to use

if i go with poorboy's, should i get SSR3,2,1 or 3,2.5,1???

i was thinking 3,2,1 but since i'm not familiar with poorboy's, i was wondering

if there's anything special about the 2.5 that i'll be missing out on

any advice is welcome, preferably from users of the above products

comparison of above to meg's would be great also

thanks

Optimum's actually the cheapest of the 3 since it ships in 32oz bottles instead of 16oz.. It's also the one I'd recommend getting out of the 3 you're looking at - it's very user-friendly, has a long working time, and pretty versatile as well (on some paints, the harsher opts can finish down lsp ready).

I like the PB products. If you can get all 4 of SSRs get them they all have their uses. I like the SSR3 for hard clear coats then you move down to SSR2 and then SSR1 and so on. With SSR2.5 on soft clear coat you can MOSTLY go to SSR1 and then your sealant or wax. Hope this makes sense. :tumblewee

I have absolutely loved the results of Menzerna FPII with a Lake Country finishing pad for the final polishing step.

Having said that, I have consistently heard good things about all three brands you are considering.
