Polish for Rejuvenating Bright Red

On your pads, you should figure at least one pad for each product you’re going to use. So looking at your product list you’ll need:

IP: polish pad

FP: polish pad

AIO: polish pad

NXT: polish or finish pad

SG: usually applied by hand

Still thinking about the topper: if the topper is applied with the PC then another finish pad.

Add in a cutting pad if needed for more severe defects.

OK, that's good to know. So...the question is, where can I order polishing pads and MF's by the bushel?:xyxthumbs

Also, I assume these pads are re-usable. Hand or machine wash? Typically how many uses can you get out of each pad?

Oh...and very nice reds SpoiledMan and Elliot Ness:xyxthumbs

Seems like that Vanilla Moose Product is quite popular around here. Might have to pick some of that up as well ;)

Thanks texax328ci. That was my first use of VM and I was VERY impressed! I bought 2 quarts right after that so I wont run out anytime soon.

David sells both the LC and Sonus pad kits here on Autopia. You can order a kit and then the extra pads you may need. If you order Sonus pads enter the code SONUS for a 15% discount: http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/pcdepot.html

I wash my pads in a bucket with dawn. You should get a lot of use out of a pad before it wears out/breaks down.

Here is a good basic guide to using the PC, washing pads, etc.: http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/inf-pc7424.html

Here are two good sites for MF's:

http://www.exceldetail.com/

http://www.pakshak.com/

If you order from Pakshak e-mail him first about prices for Autopia members, there is a very hefty discount.

I also have a red car with a bit of oxidation and alot of swirls and holograms. Im thinking of going out any buying a PC and using some 3M III MG + Meguiars #7 + S100. Anyone think that would provide a very wet shine?

Im very tempted to buy the PC right now hehe.
