Polish Angel Glasscoat Shampoo- Initial thoughts and observations (pic heavy)

I was sort of surprised it played well over the Natty`s Paste. Some times SiO2 over wax will cause streaks.

well I`m assuming the Natty`s lasted longer than 4 or 5 weeks since I last applied it...especially considering I only had the car sitting out in the sun one whole day (the one day I drove to the office) but it`s possible it was just suspended above the layer of PA flake I had on there a few weeks before that and washed off..who knows...I have so much stuff on my car I honestly couldn`t tell you what all is on there, but I could give a good guess, ha.

Great review and - wow - what a beautiful car! Thanks for taking the time to post all the pictures and videos.

I have to admit that I was eyeballing this soap a week or so ago, but I didn`t order it due to the price and volume required for a wash.

I`ve always felt that cost and cost-effectiveness are two different things. Beyond this, the effectiveness of the product is separate from its cost.

It would seem that this shampoo is effective - it cleaned your car, it dropped some hydrophobicity and interacted well with other LSP on your car (black to boot).

As far as cost-effectiveness goes, you sort of touched upon this. PA is a boutique product line. I do love my Viking Spritz and High Gloss, but, dang, $10 per wash?! This does indeed seem like a wash for one`s own garage queen or high end client.

Do you have a sense of how this shampoo compares to the performance of Gyeon Bathe+? (It`s easy to conclude that Bathe+ is more economical.)

for a car or sedan (my challenger is actually Larger than a Camry dimension wise)... you Do Not need to use the 50ml per 10l ... you can cut it down to 30ml with 6l water, as I did and achieve sufficient results...that makes you get almost 7 washes out of the 200ml..making it about $5.71 per wash....yea it might work a little better with using 50ml....and I guess I will have to give 50ml a try sometime now, but I did account for using less water when I did the 30ml pour so I feel the proportions were still sufficient.

I think I like the shine the Flake + Zirkon gives my car over this shampoo + cosmic, but that`s just because its more of a warm deep shine and Flake/Zirkon really helps the metallic shine through on my car

as far as bathe+...yea im certain it`s far more economical and possibly just as good of a product, but I`ve never tried it.

I`d be happy to try them side by side on my truck, or panel next to panel, if anyone wanted to send me 2 or 3 ounces of bathe plus, but I don`t see myself purchasing it- ever.

the real test will be when I can get the Cosmic High Gloss Hellcat back in here for a coating maintenance wash- problem is he has yet to have to actually wash his car since I gave him RW, Spray and Wipe, Spray and Gloss and a gallon of RTU Mckees 914 as WW, lol

I can spend crazy money with the best of `em but at $10 a wash it better wash, dry, launder the towels afterwards...and then clean my gutters too!

I would give a one buy try regardless but think I`m gonna go minimalist with respect to SiO2 products this Spring and see how it goes. No Bathe+, no Wet Coat, no Cure, no High Gloss...just monthly application of Overcoat and that`ll be about itm

when you said "pic heavy" you weren`t messing around!! Car looks great.

And a nice review. I should send you some Gyeon Bath+ to review

The PA hype got me. I ordered the High Gloss to try first. If I find it it works as advertised, I`ll get Viking and some other products.

like I said, at the ratio I`m using it.. its $5.71 per wash ... which yea is still high but I`m sure I used more than $5 of cosmic spritz to dry it with, lol

to each their own. price is relative. I don`t go out and drink beer at bars, I don`t chase women and spend money there. I don`t do drugs. I don`t buy fast food. etc etc

But I`ll drop some $ on shine, lol

Who are you???

What you do to Budget Plan ?!?!?!?!

last time I checked Overcoat was not in the cheap category either, lol

edit: 100ml for 49.99 , 250ml for 79.99 that`s pretty on par with PA`s higher end sprays

I`d sure like me some overcoat though

Fantastic review Brandt!!! Great job on the videos too. You`re making me want to try PA stuff. You should be the PA brand ambassador LOL!

Oh BTW, your Challenger looks stunning as always.
