PO85RE5 vs. OPS

You must have super abilities to be able to deduce from pictures what MOST wouldn't be able to do in person. :up

Monitor is a 17 inch ViewSonic VP191b.

I don't have super eyes, but as for viewing on my monitor the passenger side looks better! No I am not a Menzerna fan, I haven't used any polish yet. When I do it will be 3M products that were recommended here and I purchased

I can't help it if see what I see! The passenger side is clearer to me in the picture.

However it is quite well known that things viewed over the Internet don't necessarily display the truth, it is though the only medium we have so you either live with it or don't comment.

Changeling

On second thought, I think my eyes are spectacular:grinno:

on my monitor the left side looks a touch better. I have a Samsung monitor (supposedly with 2000:1 contrast ...but I really don't think it is). The difference is very light, to me the bricks look slightly darker and more vivid than the left.

but if OPS can withstand IPA, then it definitly gets my money, becaus the difference is so small.

EDIT: I thought about it and I think that what I said above is true, but it is not caused by the product, but rather the angle. Even if you look at something not glossy at a low angle you can still see reflections.

right...

people with supervision are totally awesome

on the sidenote.....I'd think Dell's new 27" LCD monitor 1080P resolution would beat viewsonic to the death tho.....even tho it's internet who knows if it's true...

Maybe it's just me, but to me the OPS side looks deeper and richer than the Menzerna side, which almost looks sterile in comparison. Heh, and I am usually the type to preach on how much better Menzerna products finish out vs. Optimum.

i thought the drivers side looked slightly deeper and abit darker also

but everyones opinion on what looks good to them is what counts both are excellent products

I guess I am the butt of some kind of joke because I told the truth about what I see, well everyone has a right to there opinion!

I guess this means that all who posted those negative comments about what I see because I am viewing a computer screen, and commented about what I see are right!

Therefore I assume you guys will also "NEVER" again comment on how someone's vehicle looks on this web site, because after all, you guys have already exhibited the expert knowledge that no one has a right to there opinions, except for you of course, but your opinions can't be given because you are also using a computer screen!! Is this correct?

Changeling

PS. The monitor I identified above won every comparison to "ALL" monitors a year ago in every major monitor comparison test, not that it makes a bit of difference of course. I just thought I would throw that in for you tech guys!

relax man. stay on topic. no one is making you the butt of anything.

To the OP, thanks for the comparo. well written. for the rest go pick up some of each and give it a go.

I am something of a tech guy

Polyseal contains carnauba and is touted as an All In One product, so it should look better than the Menzerna side. 2 different products really.

I saw a little bit of more depth on the OPS side, compared to PO85. I made the comparison with the first pic, but to me, OPS made it slightly better...

Bence,

You are saying that the products were applied to the 'Driver's side and the Passenger's side' and then some of the posts changed it to 'Left side and Right side'.

This is a European car, right? So isn't the steering wheel on the Right (American car's passenger's side) of the car?

In other words, maybe some of the people who are comparing the products that you used are looking at the wrong side of the car to judge the results. I can't see where the steering wheel is from the pics.

Cleaning Fool, remember, the comparison was made after a thorough IPA wipedown, so it theoretically doesn't matter what kind of active ingredients it had.

waxnshine, the car is a Caifornian model Camry DX, so the steering wheel is on the left side - just as all continental European cars. Ergo: driver's side & left side must be the same :D

True but if you can get an equal or better look and some protection at a lower price, isn't that a huge win-win situation?
