PO106FF via Rotary

I've been using the Blackfire version of PO106FF for some time now, but via PC only...and mostly on black cars (where it really sets itself apart from other polishes). For rotary I've been using FPII (amazing stuff in its own right), but the hot and humid summer months can be problematic for FPII. So today I gave the Blackfire SRC (PO106FF) a serious go via rotary and a green Propel II...on a black truck - man is this stuff amazing!!! It gave me great cut, very long working time, and finished down 100% halogram-free on black. It was pretty hot out and I was still able to work the polish for 4 or 5 passes at about 1500 rpms and it still buffed off like butter...and very little dust (dusts much less via rotary than DA).



This stuff is the real deal in every respect...and worth every penny!



Too bad I forgot my new PO85RE5...twas an unexpected job.
 
Yes, these days the Green P2s are my favorite choice for everthing from final finishing to light compounding.
 
No RMG mix with the Blackfire needed?



Its like the green Propel P2/Rotary/106ff where a match made in heaven.

It is a match made from heaven. My guess is 106FF with about 10-15% RMG would perform very similar to the Blackfire SRC polish. Too much RMG to polishes like FPII and, I suspect, PO106FF, leads to sling via rotary.
 
So does the blackfire have more lubrication elements in it than PO106FF? Where did you get the PO85RE? Thanks Rag.

I think the PO series polishes are splitting hairs with the 85RD, 85RE5, and 106FF...as they all use the same abrasives. Comparing to Megs, most people would probably say PO85RD compares to #9 in cut, PO106FF compares to #80, and RE5 falls in between.



I'm thinking 85RD and even RE5 will be useful for rotary ownder for when 106FF is just a little much cut to be able to finish down halogram free on black...but I haven't really got a chance to put this theory to the test yet. For PC users, I don't see a whole lot of benefit 85RD and 85RE5 over 106FF, cause if your going to polish, you mine as well polish (kinda the same reason I've never been a fan of paint cleaners...if you're gonna spend an afternoon going over your car with the PC...you mine as well just polish with a real polish).
