Spend the money to re-label your own products from Chemical Guys and call it Eve's Polishes IMO...

The proof is out there. Zaino can now be spoken about on DC? Maybe sometimes, but I know forum member GMBlack3a had a post deleted for no reason a couple weeks ago. Also, if you know Zaino can NOW be spoken about, what about in the past? You don't find anything wrong with this type of marketing?

How about you save some money and buy CG's products and compare them to the Adam's. See if they are not the same exact product. If you are comfortable selling over priced, relabled products, then go for it. Just know who you are getting involved with an their ethics.

Also, on Corvetteforum I was constantly called out by two guys who claimed no affilation with Adams. Of course, a thread history search showed on the of the guys who set me up, writing a thread in which he chronicled Adam comming to his house... hmmm

My post on Dig vette did not even contain the word "zaino" in the title. It only mentioned zaino as the products used during the detail. I also used menzerna, presta and meguires products.

Here is the thread that was deleted at dig vette. My PMs to two mods on the site went unanswered. Stickman81 PM'd another mod over there, they replied to him but never gave a reason as to why the thread was deleted.

I take it as a complement that the thread was deleted over there. Maybe the car just looked to darn good. :grinno: They don't want a car with another product looking that good. :2thumbs:

"Im not religious, but can you tell me how many of your suppliers have invited you and friends to his home and fed you with beer and great food? Not taking sides here just saying Adam is a class act guy, and he promotes his bussiness better than any one i have ever seen, that why i want to get on board with him."

I had the same experience once, this dude was about to talk me into becoming a distributor for him - then he said it was AmWay!!

LOL!!

Funny how its so easy for you cali guys to say that, why dont you all come up here and visit the Factory 5 Plant lol, its down in Cape Cod.

If I was about to sink my money into something of this nature and wanted to be informed about their operation I *sure would* spend $400 or so and fly out for the day.

At 2006, 2007 Corvettes at Carlise, Adam personally invited all users and non users and meguires detail team to his house for drinks and food, free of charge, hes a class act guy, thats the type of person i want to do bussiness with. I learned a long time ago that price inst everything, but customer service and decadication is.

The short answer is, sales & marketing.

the nicest business men are the ones you have to be most wary of. They are always nice when they think they can make a buck off you.

Maybe that's why I can't stand to watch Car Crazy, Barry just acts too much like a used car salesman or guy running for office.

Really guys, at the end of the day WHO CARES?!?!

I continue to give Adams my business b/c despite the fact I didn't make the switch to his line for a long time I was still treated very well each and every time I saw them at any event. Of course Adam or one of his guys would make a pitch to me or get me to try a new product, but THEY ARE AFTER ALL RUNNING A BUSINESS... if they didn't I'd be concerned and/or suspicious.

I've had regular discussions via e-mail w/ their detail techs and on more than one occasion when discussing a particular problem or job they actually recommended another companies product over theirs... thats honesty you can't beat.

To top it off I've never had one complaint, one bad experience, or one issue with their customer service, shipping, or defective replacement (as rare as its been)

IMO I could care less if Adams was buying Meguiars and Turtle wax OTC at the local autozone, mixing it together, relabeling it and selling it to me as something else... the bottom line is the results I get with it keep me and my customers happy.

If price is an issue and you are a firm believer that the same products can be had elsewhere for less money THEN DO IT... if not no big deal... theres enough profit margin (at least in the work I'm doing) to justify the added expense for great customer service and piece of mind.

Like i stated in my thread numerous times, the purpose was merly to find out who was producting it.

Actions speak louder than words. If that is the only thing that was purpose of this thread let's not start drifting into who does better wining and dining. Plus, IMHO, treating people to some free food and beverages is not what constitutes a class act. IMHO true class act starts with integrity and no behind the back stabbing.

:werd: Inviting people to your house and providing free food and beverages is just good hospitality. I've been reading alot about rebottled CG stuff... and if you're talking about class act, then Bob from Danase should be inserted here because he man up to it. No beating around the bush and making up stories.

... and sometimes just a business function. This would not be a first nor last industry where you invite people for food and drinks not because you like them or you are nice but because you are doing business.

Its not just the food and drinks, its the fact that Adam is the type of guy that would take his shirt off to help some one, any one who has met him would know this.

Exactly how i feal

Adams provides customer service second to none, if thers a problem there right there to help out. Ill pay the extra to have the service, all i hear about is people getting screwed on shiping, product not showing up, having problems with product, that just dosent seam to happen with adams and if it does, there right there to fix it, thats customer service.

According to your words purpose of your thread was to find out where his products are made. That question has been answered. Your remaining actions however are starting to strongly reek of shilling especially when those that have been around quite a bit strongly document that only shirt he might be taking off is one of someone's elses back.

So, Tort, where are you when you are needed?

I don't know the truth, I only have my opinions what I have heard... but you tell me..

Go to Instafinish which is a distributor for CG (Warner Chemical) in Australia. Then go to adams polishes. Look at the logo of their hotrod on both sites, identical. Also, instafinish used the same hotrod on there labels until recently. It should further be noted that instafinish does NOT deny the relationship between Warner Chemical and themselves..

Also, Instafinish, CG, and Adams all have similarly named products such as Buttery Wax, Buttery Wet Wax, Butter Wax (depending on the seller). I should also note that in my personal experience Adam's Butter Wax smells the same/looks the same/feels the same/removes the same/leaves the same gloss/smells the same as CG's Butter Wax.

The In and Out Detail Spray was also identical in use/scent/slickness/ect as CG's detail spray.

Lastly, before they updated their site, Adam's product descriptions where identical to CG's.

hey lets make easier!!! PnB engineering in CA!!!:idea They are one of the biggest manufacture for many other compainies....:rofl

Wow... just wow. You wanted to know where he gets his stuff, and alot of people suspect it is rebottled CG. If you are okay with that, then go for it. And if you can convince people to buy Adam's polishes (even though you can get it cheaper elsewhere) then more power to ya.

Truth comes out now. 5 page ad for Adams. Yay!

Barry can be too over the top. I understand being enthusiastic about your product but geez, the man needs to switch to decaff.

I've dealt with Adam's before a few years back. We where actually all set ot bring on Adam's as a new line and then the only line we where carrying at the time found out and threatened to pull their products off of the shelves if we carried Adam's. Since Adam's was newer and we where not sure how it would sell compared to this line we had established we, for lack of better words, p*ssied out. But for the brief time I spent talking with Adam's they where really good to deal with. If I could do it all over again adam's would of been on my sheleves and the other in the garbage.
