Long story short:

Passenger vomits 1.5 gallons.

1 gallon in bag, .5 gallon all over the passenger side.

I have nappa leather.

I removed the seat and cleaned everywhere with a towel and water.

Leather does not smell anymore.

Removed all chunks from carpet, scrubbed with wet towel.

Smell is still in the carpet.

What is the best thing to use to clean the carpet and remove the odor?

I plan on getting some meguires/mothers leather cleaner tomorrow when the store opens.

Any other suggestions to help the clean up would be GREATLY appreciated.

About half an hour after writing this, my dog was sick in the car. The oxiclean worked very well.

Baking soda is also a great alternative

I e-mailed the company that sells this product and they said that it is only available in the USA.. that should change shortly though.

I second the white vinegar and/or baking soda approaches..

I'd wipe up with (deluted) white vinegar, and after that dries up, sprinkle the spot liberally with baking soda and let it sit there for a day.. That should take care of it, and probably any other smells lingering in the car.

Had some good results with Febreze aswell, but not as good as the above.

Good luck,

- Rick
