Ok, Im getting all the materials needed for the spring cleaning that is fast approaching. Could you please look over my list and see if I have everything needed? This is going to be my first time using the PC, so I am using the pads recommened in the How-to.

PC 7424 - http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/pc-7424.html

Sonus DAS green foam pad for applying AIO - http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/son-daspad-gr.html

Sonus DAS buffing bonnet for removing AIO and applying SG - http://store.yahoo.com/autopia/son-dasbon6-2.html

Assuming I already have all the actual products, AIO/SG. Is there anything I am missing or going to need? Am I using the correct pads?

Do you have any tips for using the PC? How much pressure should I apply?

my personal preference is one pad for each product :nixweiss as for applying klasse products by da polisher...i thought most ppl do it by hand to prevent overusage as it is pricey but i wouldnt know :sadpace:

well I tried it both ways for AIO. I did my motorcycle and since it has many areas PC will not easily reach I had to do them by hand. I did not notice a difference I could see. Give it a shot by hand, you can always buy the PC later.

yeah i apply and remove klasse aio and sg by hand, strictly

Wow, I wouldnt even consider using AIO without a PC. take full advantage of its capabilities and go with a PC. As for SG, I would think a PC would actually be better as you want the thinnest possible layer to begin with. As for waste, if you only apply it twice a yr, you still have enough for at least 4 years, I wouldnt think thats uneconomical in the least.....

I take a sharpie and write AIO or SG on my various pads.

used Klasse for years before getting a PC for no good reason. Big mistake.

I still end up spending hours detailing the car but at least my arms aren't tired afterwards.

Get one of those Stanley Plastic Tool Boxes for your PC,pads,Klasse Bottles, brushes, Spritzes.

I think I have blue Sonus pads for AIO and SG and a grey finishing pad for my S100, p21s waxes.

i avoid using MF (with prickly ends) or terry bonnets or towles on paint. And I finish manualy with a Concourse buffing towel or the Meguiar's Gold Class buffing towel for all those places the PC can't get at. Looks like I'll be using this 1 liter of FK #425 Super Slick QD as my buffing towel buddy.
