Oh dear!
Well the good news from pictures it doesnt look like you sanded through the clearcoat.
The other good news is it looks like your vehicle is silver ,and being down low like that on a bumper , not at eye level its going to be much more forgiving then a darker color or at eye level.
The bad news is your going to need to very carefully sand those 600 scratches out with a finer grade sandpaper and that can be very risky .
Ive never started with 600 so Im not sure what grade will get those scratches out.Im guessing you will need 1000 grit.
Im going to let someone else advise you!
